All quiet on the Western Front

So I'm back on the west coast for a short stint, hence the silence on this front.  Don't think I've been frittering away the time though.  While online activity is at a bit of a stand-still these days, I do happen to have a very nifty little playtest that's almost ready for prime-time.  Or at least for some people to start hammering at.

I'll give you just a small hint...

I'm currently fine-tuning the part where the player gets to choose their backstory and the characters that have doomed them to eternal submissiveness.  There will be 5 choices:  wife, best friend, boss, secretary and rival.  Each one of these has sub choices in terms of genders, names and some other goodies.  And these characters that you name and define will play a larger role later on.  Fun stuff.

Other than that, life carries on.  Although a little more merrily than normal.  Perhaps it's that I have a shiny new ring to show to people. :D

Bottle of Red

So the moon of honey and delight has regrettably waned and now as they say 'the honeymoon is over'.  Although truth to be told, there doesn't seem to be much difference between now and before. . . EXCEPT for 2 things:
  1. We are both 'officially' outed and monogamously claimed to one another (no more family or friends trying to set us up with husbands *shudder)
  2. We have glorious memories of the past days of whirlwind joy and happiness.
Napoli was amazing: art, music, the food dear god the food (and particularly the hotel room :D)  but the highlight of the voyage for me was Venice.  We didn't get to stay either place long enough, almost a coming attractions feel, but I do like Venice!  (the nightlife there gives Cali a run for it's money).

I feel as if I could expound endlessly.

But I won't.

At least not here.

Here there is other stuff that needs an attentive eye (and a firm hand from the looks of things).  Batteries are recharged though and there is a secret to . . . well . . . not just yet. . .
